Welcome ...
We are an inclusive and diverse church with a wide variety of services and activities, from the traditional to the informal, within the Anglo-Catholic tradition of the Church of England.
We are heavily involved in the local community. We have strong connections with Ark St Alban’s Academy where our vicar is chaplain. We administer the small Highgate United Food Bank.
Regular Sunday Morning Mass
St Alban's Church is for public worship every Sunday with a sung Mass starting at 10:00 A.M. and lasting a little over an hour.
Sunday Evening Service
Our evening service starts at 6:00 p.m.
On the fourth Sunday of the month we have a Solemn Choral Evensong followed by Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament, with our choir augmented by visitors from other churches.
On other Sundays we have a simpler evening service of Compline or Evening Prayer without a choir.
Weekday Services
Currently we usually have a said Mass on Wednesday mornings starting at 10:00 a.m. followed by tea, coffee and toast in our church hall. But sometimes Fr Jacob is obliged to be elsewhere, so please check our Parish Calendar Diary before attending.
We have sung masses for major festivals and said masses for some other holy days. Please check our Parish Calendar Diary for details.
Streamed and Recorded Services
Some of our regular congregation are not able to attend in person, so we usually stream our Sunday service over Zoom. For an invitation link, please contact Rachel Smith (rachel.sammons@blueyonder.co.uk).
You can find videos of some of some of our past services here: Service Videos.
You can find some of sermons by our previous vicar, Fr Gerry, who retired in January 2025, here: Sermons and Homilies.
Fr Gerry also made some videos of interfaith meditaions for Ark St Alban's Academy. You can find these meditations here: Interfaith Videos.
