Visit of Archbishop of Canterbury

On February 23rd 2015, The Most Revd and Rt Hon Justin Welby, Archbishop of Canterbury, visited Saint Alban’s Academy and blessed a plaque which will be placed within a new community games facility which will be known as the ‘Archbishop Welby Healthy Living Area’.

While at the Academy he answered questions from some of the students.

The glass wall of the assembly room provided a wonderful vista of the west face of the church across the school grounds.
